User Agreement of the Online Shop for Retailers:

1. General

These terms and conditions concerning orders and use (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the use of the online shop for European retailers and the wholesale orders placed through the shop. By using the online shop, you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. We reserve the right to change or update the contents, prices and selection of the online shop and these Terms and Conditions. If we make substantial changes to our Terms and Conditions or our privacy statement, we aim to announce these changes, e.g., on our website.

3. Registration as a Retailer

3.1. You can place a retail purchase order only as a registered retail customer of the online shop. Prior to placing the first order, the retailer must:

  1. Register as a company that wants to become a retailer. Provide the official company name, business ID and other requested information. Old customers must also register so that we can set up an account in the new system.
  2. Provide their consent for Desico Oy to register the company information in its customer register. The customer information of Desico Oy is confidential. Desico Oy agrees not to disclose customer information to others.
  3. After registration, Desico Oy will verify the company information and, if necessary, the credit information. Following approval, Desico will send an e-mail containing the instructions for logging in.

3.2. The retailer must act with care and diligence when using the online shop.

4. Validity of the Order

4.1. Communication between the parties is done primarily by e-mail. Our expert staff is at your service and happy to answer any inquiries and questions about orders on weekdays from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm at desico@desico.fi. After placing an order, the retailer agrees to check their e-mail to receive the order confirmation.

4.2. The sales agreement becomes valid when Desico Oy sends an order confirmation by e-mail.

4.3. The retailer has the right to cancel the order in part on in full by e-mail, letter or phone before the delivery of the order. Delivery is considered completed once the order has been delivered to the consumer or the consumer has been sent a notification that the order can be picked up from a Posti or Matkahuolto outlet.

4.4. After the retailer has placed an order, Desico Oy does not have the right to change the terms of agreement.

5. Prices

5.1. All unit prices on the product page for retailers are given without value-added tax (VAT 0%). The prices shown in the online shop are valid and given in euros (EUR).

6. Delivery

6.1. The term of delivery is ex-factory in Fiskars. The estimated delivery time is about two weeks. If the product is temporarily or permanently out of stock, we will notify the retailer immediately and also let them know if the delivery time will be longer.

6.2. The charges of delivery to Europe from the Desico online shop depend on the size of the order and the country.

6.3. If it is imperative that the product is delivered by a certain day, this must be explicitly stated, e.g., when placing the order. We will try to fulfil the wish, if possible.

6.4. If a retailer orders products that have been assigned different delivery times by Desico Oy, the order is delivered according to the longest delivery time assigned.

7. Terms of Payment

7.1 All the prices in the online shop are in euros.

7.2 After you have accepted the order confirmation, we will send you an invoice, which must be paid before the order can be sent from Finland.

7.3 When buying and transporting products outside the EU, the recipient of the product is responsible for local taxes, customs duties and other comparable costs.

8. Notice of Defect

8.1 If the incorrect product has been delivered to the retailer, the product is damaged etc., the retailer must notify Desico Oy about the issue within seven days by e-mail to info@desico.fi.

8.2 The retailer shall take into account that the colours of the pictured products are for reference only and minor differences in colours occur between different manufacturing batches.

9. Force majeure

9.1. Desico Oy shall not be liable for failed, hindered or delayed delivery of an order due to causes beyond Desico Oy’s control, such as wars, natural catastrophes, export or import prohibitions, decisions by a governmental authority, general traffic disruptions and other similar acts that hinder or prevent the operations of Desico Oy.

10. Conflict Resolution

10.1. Any disputes and differences arising out of this sales agreement are to be settled in accordance with the Finnish law.
